The reigning Radical Cup Scandinavia champion will make the leap to Europe in 2026, chasing the new Radical Cup Europe Championship with STEP Motorsport.
After a season that could be described as the 18-year-old from Silkeborg’s breakthrough season, his ambitions have now been raised a notch higher. The original career plan has been upgraded and the road ahead is now steeper and more ambitious than ever before.
“ I’m really looking forward to continuing my partnership with STEP Motorsport. After what we achieved in 2025, I believe we are capable of developing and competing for victories in the Radical Cup Europe. It’s going to be crazy, not least to try our hand at some of the big F1 tracks around Europe. My ambition is to top the Nordic championship with a European one next year,” says Sebastian Schou.
The high expectations are backed up by Team Manager at STEP Motorsport, Morten Dons, who himself is a former factory driver at Radical Cars in England, and who is looking forward to the big task of competing at the European top level:
“ Sebastian did an exemplary job this year. Both in the car and as a businessman, and all round I see a driver with huge willpower and lots of talent. I’m happy that we can continue our collaboration in the new year, where we’ll all be on our toes to be at the forefront again,” says Morten Dons.
The Radical Cup Europe season kicks off at Mugello in Italy in March before heading to some of the continent’s most legendary race tracks; Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Nürburgring in Germany and Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona in Spain.
“ It will be a great experience, and more importantly a great chance for me to prove myself on the big tracks. It’s a season that can make a big difference to my future career,” says Sebastian Schou.
