Morten Strømsted chases European Championship gold with STEP Motorsport

Last year’s Masters Champion in Radical Cup Scandinavia moves on to Radical Cup Europe with STEP Motorsport and Sebastian Schou.

Last year’s Masters Champion in Radical Cup Scandinavia moves on to Radical Cup Europe with STEP Motorsport and Sebastian Schou. While in 2025 he chased the Masters title on his own on the Scandinavian tracks, this year he will share the car with Radical Cup Scandinavia Champion Sebastian Schou as they compete in the new Radical Cup Europe championship. This naturally raises high expectations for the upcoming season: “I’m looking forward to Radical Cup Europe together with my fast young team-mate. We had a great partnership in our respective cars last year and shared a number of podiums together. The goal for 2026 is to join forces and end up as champions,” says Morten Strømsted. According to him, it’s realistic that the two will succeed with their high ambitions: “Sebastian has natural speed and I know many of the tracks from my 2024 season in GT Open, where I raced with Team Motopark and took podiums at Spa-Francorchamps and Barcelona,” he says. With two well-known drivers in the car, the team boss is also looking forward to a solid debut season on some of Europe’s best race tracks: “We had a successful season last year, not least because of Sebastian and Morten’s professional approach to the sport and collaboration. I couldn’t wish for two better drivers to put in the car and I’m sure we’re going to impress in Radical Cup Europe,” says Morten Dons.
